Family Faith Formation

Dear Parents,
Many people will play a part in your child's growing faith, but as a parent, you will always be the most influential person in your child's spiritual formation. With the Holy Spirit as your guide and Christ as the centre of your teaching, you can foster a home environment that nourishes the whole child - Mind, Body, and Spirit.

As your child walks through the "Finding God" program with you, they will grow in relationship with God and other people, read the Word of God in Holy Scripture, open their heart to God in prayer, discern a strong sense of purpose as a response to God's call, develop self-discipline in all areas of their life, and be prepared for life within the parish and the larger Christian community.

We invite you to see how the "Finding God" program by Loyola Press supports your child on their faith journey, and provides tools and support as you help guide them on that journey. You can embrace with confidence your calling as your child's first catechist.

Blessings on your family.

Engage with our

Youth Group

The Divine Mercy Parish Youth Group gathers each Tuesday 6:30 - 8:00 PM at St. John XXIII for a time of prayer, fun activities including indoor soccer, washer toss, and parents provide snacks and refreshments.

We are currently watching new episodes of a new series entitled; Wonder, God and Nature: The Traces of the Trinity from the Word on Fire Institute. We share in the outreach ministries for the Backpack Program at St. Clements, Carefree Clothing Giveaway at St. Andrews, and Margaret's House to feed the hungry.

Our youth leaders help build up the faith in catechesis for youth through
interactive fun games like Catholic Feud!

If you wish to join the youth group, please contact Monique Mackenzie
